Following up from their debut vinyl release late last year; Aotearoa punks FOG return with a second EP offering that further expands and impressively develops on a framework heavily embedded in the sound of 80s UK anarcho/peace punk. Whilst they continue to concisely blend the cold, gloomy subtleties of post-punk. These four new tracks showcase a group carving out their own niche amongst a slew of current bands harnessing these elements of old and new. Maintaining the tradition but lighting a different kind of spark.

The record itself is packaged in a heavily inspired CRASS RECORDS style fold out sleeve that brings to mind the ‘No Doves Fly Here’ 7” by THE MOB. Evoking the visual aesthetics whilst having a noticeable influence on the bands sonics similarly to groups like OMEGA TRIBE, CRISIS and POLITICAL ASYLUM of that era. Fused with its delivery in a more modern sound that’s comparable to that of STRAW MAN ARMY; this is a timely reminder FOG are a band worthy of your attention.
